        Andrea Baiguera

So far, Brixia Horse Power, featuring Andrea Baiguera, has only taken

part in the race meeting at Imola. In the first race at the Santerno

circuit, Baiguera finished in a creditable twentieth place, despite

starting on the 18th row of the grid. A highly encouraging performance

that saw Maurizio Facondini’s driver gain 16 positions. Unfortunately

Baiguera was forced to retire during the second race.

        Dario Capitanio – Parth Ghorpade

Giuseppe Mazzotti’s team entered two single-seaters and two rookie

drivers: Dario Capitanio and Parth Ghorpade. The Italian driver cut his

teeth in the Fast Lane Promotion categories, having participated

successfully in the Challenge F.Renault 2.0 Italy in 2012. Following the

move to F.Renault 2.0 ALPS, Capitanio was forced to retire during the

first race at Vallelunga, but achieved an excellent seventh position in

the second race. He failed to score any points at Imola and Spa, but

provided evidence of a solid technique, completing all four races, with

a best finish of twelfth in the second race on the Belgian circuit.

BVM also had the honour of being the first team to compete in a Fast

Lane Promotion category with an Indian driver. Ghorpade, who began

his career in 2012 in the F.Pilota China series, has fitted in well with

the team from the Romagna region and finished ninth in both the first

race at Vallelunga and race 2 at Spa.
