Vesni č (ASK Vesni ć , CUPRA) Dušan Kou ř il driving a K2 Engineering Hyundai i30 N and Jáchym Galáš in a GT2 Motorsport Volkswagen Golf GTI took one race victory apiece in the TCR Eastern Europe powered by ESET series at Brno. In Race 1, Kou ř il took a lights- to-flag victory, the second in a row for him after Race 2 at the Slovakiaring. The Czech driver had inherited pole position following a penalty imposed on Galáš for refuelling during Qualifying. During the opening laps, Kou ř il was closely chased by Petr Č ižek, Jakub Wyszomirsky and Milovan Vesni č , while Galáš was recovering after starting from the back of the grid. On lap 3, Vesni č overtook Č ižek and Wyszomirsky, moving into second; Galáš improved the lap record four times and climbed to third in the process. Over the last couple of laps Galáš was threatening Vesni č ’s second place but couldn’t find a gap to pass him and had to settle for third. The second race was enlivened by a long leading duo and the three of them ran for most of the race within the same second. Only during the final laps was Galáš able to build a small margin and won by 1.7 seconds over Kou ř il, while Vesni č finished third and so secured the ESET V4 Cup title.
