CUPRA and collected the Alfa Romeo Giulietta of Martin Jensen. Both cars remained stranded in the gravel trap at T1 and the safety car was deployed. The race resumed on lap 4, and Mattias Andersson overtook Åhlin- Kottulinsky for P7; soon afterwards Wernersson looked to be in trouble with the handling of his Audi and dropped from third to seventh. The fight for the lead was close, with Ahlberg, Brink, Morin, Elgaard and Dahlgren covered by less than two seconds. On lap 10, Dahlgren passed Elgaard for P4 and then began chasing Morin. They made contact once on the pit straight, then on lap 13 Elgaard joined the fight and tried to pass both at the end of the straight. However, as Morin closed the door, the Dane braked on the wet part of the track, his Honda skidded out of control and hit Morin’s Audi. Both cars went off into the gravel, while Dahlgren safely went through to finish in third position behind Ahlberg and Brink. 31 Round 11 – Sunday 8 September, Jyllandsringen 1. R.
