25 honest I expected more from myself than having battles at the back of the field. It was not funny or enjoyable, even though it was my first year in the championship. I would like to be in the middle or somewhere close to the top. I had a lot of unlucky situations, like when I had technical issues at the Nürburgring and Vila Real. I hope this year is going to be luckier in my new, four- car team. My main goal is to improve.” How was your first test with your new team at the Salzburgring? “My first impression was that Münnich Motorsport is an amazingly professional team, with a top-level staff. I’m so glad to have joined them. I haven’t sat in a race-car since last year’s season finale in Malaysia, so it was really nice to finally be back behind the wheel. I was the first one to arrive and introduced myself to the team. I had a good relationship with the other drivers last year, especially with Tiago, but we weren’t strangers with Esteban Guerrieri and Néstor Girolami either. We worked well together and I hope it will continue this way for the whole season.” Is Norbert Michelisz’s success a motivation for you? “Yes, absolutely! I’m so glad that he won the title last year. He is an example for every Hungarian driver, because his story is the proof that it isn’t impossible to become a World Cup winner. I hope I can follow the same path in a few years.”
