Söderström’s strong weekend meant that he has built a four-point lead over his teammate and 2012 World Touring Car champion Rob Huff, with last year’s TCR Scandinavia champion Dahlgren just three points further behind. RACE 1 – SÖDERSTRÖM CONVERTS HIS POLE INTO A WIN Tobias Brink moved ahead at the start, but a mistake on lap nine allowed Söderström the opportunity to overtake him, while Huff was recovering after a poor start passing Mikaela Åhlin- Kottulinsky, Emil Persson and then eventually Brink to finish second behind his teammate. However, Huff was handed a five-second penalty post- race for contact with Brink, which dropped him to fourth in the final order. Åhlin-Kottulinsky’s race ended with broken suspension after contact with Ahlberg, and her car was repaired with parts from Peter Wallenberg’s CUPRA, which ruled the 61-year-old out of the rest of the day.
