31 VIR – MASON FILIPPI-MICHAEL LEWIS WIN ANOTHER FAMILY BATTLE Mason Filippi and Michael Lewis won the 2-hour race at Virginia International Raceway at the end of a family fight between the Bryan Herta Autosport teams. Filippi and Lewis were closely followed by their teammates Michael Wilkins-Harry Gottsacker and Parker Chase-Spencer Brockman who finished in second and third position respectively, completing the second consecutive 1-2-3 finish for the team. Gabby Chaves and Ryan Norman, the winners of the previous event at Road America, provided the icing on the cake for Bryan Herta Autosport, as they finished fifth behind the Honda Civic driven by Matt Pombo and Mike La Marra. Wilkins and Gottsacker hold the leadership in the standings, 7 points over Lewis-Filippi and 11 ahead of Chaves-Norman.
