22 ITALY FOUR DIFFERENT DRIVERS WERE VICTORIOUS IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP’S EVENTS AT IMOLA AND VALLELUNGA Eric Brigliadori takes the lead inthe standings In Imola’s Race 1, Felice Jelmini (left) was the first driver to pass under the chequered flag for the third time this season; however, that was his first actual victory in the TCR Italy championship after he had been stripped twice of his previous wins at Mugello and Misano. The second race started (bottom) on a damp track and finished with Damiano Reduzzi crossing the finishing line in first position, but the Team WRT Trico’s driver was given a five-second penalty for making contact with Marco Pellegrini during the final lap of the race. With Pellegrini second under the chequered flag but subjected to a five- second penalty for a grid infringement, it was Salvatore Tavano (above), third classified in the race, who inherited the victory.
