Despite missing both races in the season opener due to a technical issue, Klim Gavrilov (above) never gave up; his victory in Race 1 of the final event at Fort Groznyi meant he secured the second spot in the championship. After clinching four consecutive TCR Russia titles, Dmitry Bragin (below) was forced to abdicate, but he did it with the honours of war, claiming a brilliant win at the N Ring and finishing third in the standings. 27 Round 9 – Sunday 6 September, Smolensk Ring 1.
