30 AMERICA TylerMaxson isthechampion! SCOTT SMITHSON, TRISTAN HERBERT AND VICTOR GONZÁLEZ SHARE VICTORIES IN THE LAST RACES OF THE SEASON The 17-year-old Tyler Maxson (above) completed his rookie season in TC America by securing the title with an impressive tally of eleven victories from 16 races in his Copeland Motorsports Hyundai Veloster N. Scott Smithson (right) was the first one capable to disrupt Maxson’s invincibility after nine consecutive wins; the DXDT Racing’s driver scored a double victory at Road America and a third at the Circuit of the Americas. Tristan Herbert (left) and Victor González (bottom right) – who is taking a lap to cars of the TC class – took one race win apiece on TC America’s first visit to Indianapolis. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta cars run by KMW Motorsports proved competitive in the second part of the season: Tim Lewis (top right) and Roy Block fought led the field in several races and claimed six podium results.
