13 2018 TCR Europe champion Mikel Azcona made his comeback to the series in both of the last two events of the season and won three races in the Volcano Motorsport CUPRA. At Spa-Francorchamps (above), the young Spaniard dominated the field twice in changeable weather conditions, beating a dogged Tom Coronel in the Honda Civic run by Boutsen Ginion Racing, who chased him until the very end of both races (below). The young Belgian rookie Nicolas Baert (left) completed an impressive maiden season as he finished third in the Drivers’ championship and was victorious in the Yokohama Trophy.
