In the season finale at the Hungaroring, the 2019 champion Milovan Vesnić tried his best and sprinted from P2 on the grid to take the lead of Race 1, while Borkovič, who sat on pole, struggled to keep the rest of the field at bay. However, he then began to chase Vesnić (on top), closed the gap, passed him on lap 4 and then pulled away. Not even a penalty deprived him of his seventh win. Borkovič had 12 seconds added to his elapsed time for track limit infringements, but Vesnić and Jáchym Galáš who had been second and third respectively were penalised as well. The day after, in the second race, Borkovič claimed another lights-to-flag win (left). With two second places in the Hungarian event (above), Galáš finished the season on equal points with Vesnić, but the latter retained second position in the standings thanks to three second places versus Galáš’ two.
