28 ENDURANCE CHAVES-NORMAN BEAT TEAMMATES WILKINS-GOTTSACKER AND LEWIS-FILIPPI IN THE BATTLE FOR THE TITLE OF THE TCR CLASS BryanHertaAutosportcars finish1-2-3inIMSA The IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season ended with two 2-hour races at Laguna Seca and Sebring that were both won by the Hyundai Veloster N cars run by Bryan Herta Autosport. Gabby Chaves and Ryan Norman drove the #33 Veloster to a crucial win in Laguna Seca and then finished second at Sebring after a close fight with their winning teammates Mark Wilkins and Harry Gottsacker in the #21 car. With these results, Chaves and Norman secured the title in the TCR class, ahead of Wilkins- Gottsacker. Michael Lewis and Mason Filippi, who had been leading the standings before the final round in the #98 Veloster, were forced to retire at Sebring by a technical issue and so dropped to third in the points, completing an all-BHA podium in the championship.
