10 EUROPE Both races at the Slovakia Ring provided plenty of action, with the 22 drivers fiercely battling for the positions. Tom Coronel started from pole in Race 1 and led the field briefly, before dropping to fifth behind Nicolas Baert, Nagy and Niels Langeveld who finished second, third and fourth behind Azcona. After a poor start, Dušan Borkovič recovered to seventh behind Bennani, while local hero Mat’o Homola didn’t even start, as his car had to be pushed off the grid with a technical issue. In Race 2, while Bennani and Azcona enjoyed a great scrap for victory, Franco Girolami, Klim Gavrilov and Nagy were involved in a thrilling fight for third position. Eventually, the Argentine held off his pursuers to complete the podium.
