TCR World and life
13 Although the TCR Australia championship has still three events to go, Chaz Mostert has already claimed a serious stake on the title. With five victories from twelve races, the Melbourne Performance Centre’s driver has built a comfortable lead of 106 points over his teammate Luke King. The turning point was the third event of the season that was dominated by Mostert who won all the three races on the first appearance of the TCR cars at Bathurst (left). On the famous Mount Panorama road course, Aaron Cameron (other page, bottom right) made life very hard for Mostert, leading the three races in the early stages, but eventually he had to bow and settled for second place. In the latest race meeting at Sydney Motorsport Park, Josh Buchan claimed authoritative wins in the first two races (below), while Michael Caruso was victorious in the third one (other page, bottom left). However, Mostert was able to finish third, second and sixth, further stretching his points leadership. Round 7 – Saturday 3 April, Bathurst Mount Panorama 1. C.
