40 ENDURANCE AutoramaMotorsport finish1-2 in24HBarcelona Autorama Motorsport by Wolf-Power Racing secured a 1-2 finish in the TCR class at the 24H Barcelona (above). The team’s lead Volkswagen Golf GTI of Arūnas Gečiauskas, Sigitas Ambrazevičius, Paul Sieljes and Vytenis Gulbinas completed a decisive run in the #112 car to secure the Swiss outfit’s third successive win during the current season. In an amazing comeback, the second Autorama Volkswagen, driven by Jasmin Preisig, Emil Heyerdahl, Constantin Kletzer and Roberto Ferri finished just 41 seconds behind its sister entry, despite a collision with a GT car that sent the #1 Golf into the gravel during the opening hour. The Rail Equip Totcar Sport CUPRA of Jorge Belloc Diaz, Jorge Belloc Ruiz and Álvaro Rodríguez Sastre rounded out the podium at its home event, while a gearbox replacement ended up dropping the Audi RS 3 LMS of title contender AC Motorsport to 5th in the class. The #1 Autorama Motorsport team has extended its lead in the standings of the 24H Series to 12 points over the #188 AC Motorsport, while the #112 Autorama Motorsport team follows in third position, eight further points adrift.
