TCR World and life
41 Taylor Hagler and Michael Lewis have built a 170-point lead in the TCR class of the IMSAMichelin Pilot Challenge, with only two rounds remaining to finish the season. The Bryan Herta Autosport pair claimed their first victory at Lime Rock (left) at the wheel of their Hyundai Veloster N and they finished on the podium again at Laguna Seca, completing a 1-2-3 for the team behind the Elantra N cars of Harry Gottsaker-Mark Wilkins and Parker Chase-Ryan Norman. These results meant that Bryan Herta Autosport cars also occupy the top three positions in the standings, with Chase second ahead of Gottsaker-Wilkins. The race in Laguna Seca resulted in an early retirement for the KMW Motorsports Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce driven by Roy Block and Tim Lewis. They had won the previous race at Road America (above), scoring Alfa Romeo’s maiden victory in the series, moving into second in the points. Now they have dropped to fourth, on equal points with Ryan Eversley, the first of the Honda drivers.
