42 ENDURANCE Touring Car endurance in the Baltic Region is dominated by the Noker Racing Team. The Volkswagen Golf GTI run by the Lithuanian outfit has built a comfortable lead in the BEC6H series thanks to back-to-back victories at Pärnu claimed by Kęstutis Stasionis, Sten Piirimagi and Marius Slabosevičius. In the second race on the Estonian circuit, the Noker Racing Golf managed to beat the LMS Racing Audi RS 3 LMS driven by Antti Buri and Kari-Pekka Laaksonen. In between the Pärnu races, the team scored a home victory in the TCR class of the Aurum 1006Km (right). Joined by Justas Grendelis for the 10-hour race on the Palanga road course, the trio of Stasionis, Piirimagi and Slabosevičius finished a brilliant fourth overall behind three GT cars, only missing the podium by one lap. Rubén and Felipe Fernández twice won the TCR class in the second event of the Campeonato de España Resistencia at MotorLand Aragón at the wheel of their CUPRA Leon Competición run by the RC2 Junior Team. In both 50-minute races the Fernández brothers led home the Audi RS 3 LMS shared by Álvaro Fontes and Mirco van Nostrum, while Manel Lao Cornago completed the podium in his CUPRA DSG. Felipe and Rubén Fernández have stretched their leadership in the standings to 48 points over the pair of van Nostrum and Fontes.
