14 WTCR Esteban Guerrieri (Münnich Motorsport, Honda Civic) and Frédéric Vervisch (Comtoyou Racing, Audi RS 3 LMS) are currently third and fourth in the championship with gaps of 22 and 29 points. Guerrieri climbed several positions when he twice finished on the podium at Most, second behind his teammate Néstor Girolami in Race 1 (top right) and then third in Race 2 (right). As for Vervisch, he won the first race in Pau-Arnos (above), becoming the first driver to score a second victory in the season. With 120 points still up for grabs in the last two events at Adria and Sochi, there are many other drivers who are kept in contention by the numbers, though only some of them have realistic chances to fight to the bitter end, like Ehrlacher’s teammates Yvan Muller and Santiago Urrutia and, possibly, Mikel Azcona.
