Cao Hong Wei (MG XPower, MG 6) With the Teamwork Motorsport Lynk & Co cars only competing for TCR Asia, the battle for the TCR China title is wide open. MG XPower colleagues Cao in Race 2 (above), Ávila in Races 1 and 3 and Zhang Zhen Dong in Race 4 emerged as the TCR China winners at Zhuzhou, with Cao able to score an overall victory. Ávila (bottom left) now tops the TCR China classification with a margin of ten points over Wang Tao (Auto Home Racing Team, MG6), while Yang Xiao Wei (Z.Speed, Audi RS 3 LMS) has slipped down to third, two further points adrift. Two other MG drivers are currently placed fourth and fifth: Zhang Zhen Dong and Cao Hong Wei in the other MG XPower cars. The two series will race together again at Tianma on November 6/7. This will again be a double-header event with four races that will conclude the TCR China season. As for the TCR Asia competitors, they will only race twice over the weekend before heading for Macau where the championship will come to an end on November 20/21.
