37 Élite Motorsport and Tecnodom Sport shared victories and second places in the latest two rounds of the TCR DSG Europe series. Gabriele Volpato and Marco Butti were victorious at Grobnik in the Élite-run Volkswagen Golf GTI, beating by four seconds the TecnodomAudi RS 3 LMS that Luca Rangoni shared with Steven and Jonathan Giacon. The Audi trio replied with a win at Mugello in a close finish that saw them prevailing by 1.3 seconds over their rivals. Jonathan and Steven Giacon are now leading the standings with a margin of 27 points over Butti, while Volpato lies third, 8 further point adrift. The final round of the series will be run on 26/27 November at Vallelunga. In the 12H Hungaroring, Autorama Motorsport sealed its fourth consecutive win in the 24H Series. The Volkswagen Golf GTI of Miloš Pavlović, Christoph Lenz, Jasmin Preisig and Emil Heyerdahl beat the AC Motorsport Audi RS 3 LMS driven by Stéphane Perrin and Mathieu Detry. The second Autorama Golf GTI, completed the podium with Heyerdahl sharing the wheel with Fabian Danz, Constantin Kletzer and Lukasz Stolarcyk. In the championship standings, AC Motorsport has moved to within striking distance of the #1 Autorama Volkswagen. Eight points split the two teams before the final round of the season, the 24H Sebring on November 12/14.
