13 A great getaway from P4 on the grid put Cameron well on the way to winning Race 1; he led home a Peugeot 1-2 ahead of pole sitter Ben Bargwanna with the Alfa Romeo of Michael Caruso in third position (top). Cox, who was relegated to the back of the grid by a turbo failure in Qualifying, recovered to finish fourth and then put in a masterful performance in Race 2; after starting from P16 he elbowed his way through the field, took the lead from Caruso and eventually won ahead of Cameron and Jason Bargwanna (above). In Race 3, Cox was running in second place behind the Renault Mégane of Jason Moffat. He then inherited the lead when Moffat was stopped by a delaminated tyre with three laps to go. Cameron finished second again, which secured him the runner-up spot in the final standings ahead of Cox. Round 13 – Wednesday 1 December, Bathurst Mount Panorama 1. A.
