What are the most cutting‐edge technologies used by Breda Racing? «It is true, technology is essential. And as the company changed with the passing of years, it adopted the technology needed for its growth. That allowed to keep the pace with the production and quality that the customer requires. But I also want to point attention to the human aspect. In our field, the technology content must always be combined with highly qualified personnel, and not only that. Unlike other companies, the type of work we do is unique. Some parts are made in 'series’, that's true, but we are talking of limited series, and thousands of variations are often applied to them. That require very high attention. If we talk about equipment, almost every piece, despite belonging to a "mother" series, is customized according to the car, the customer and other, multiple factors. Speaking of machinery technology and production, we can mention laser and water cutting, CNC 5-axis milling and turning machining centres, and all the machine necessary for modern production. Again, personal skills are essential, as happens in TIG welding which is one of our flagship productions. Production is paired by cutting-edge CAD / CAM programs. The design area, especially in the equipment division, is the place where the designer's imagination meets the needs of racing teams of many championships, and vice versa. In this case, the human factor is the one that stands out. In such a creative environment, the deep knowledge of the specific requirements of motorsports, and the long experience on-track of our senior technicians integrate the innovative skills of engineers and designers to create high- level equipment. SolidWorks and other specific drawing programs are the basic tools, but it is the experience and the attention to detail that underline the foundations of a quality project. That way, we create innovative equipment that can then be seen in the pit garages and tracks all around the world. In addition, our standard series is characterized by continuous improvement so moving forward is equally important». Can you set a specific goal for 2020? «In 2020 the changes happening now will continue and the new cycle within the EMI project will consolidate further. Expanding the technical and production areas is one of the returning goals of Breda Racing, but in the next few years, all the other areas of the company will be involved in the evolution of an ever-growing organization that necessitates an increasingly functional structure, adequated to the projects assigned to it
