3 “The T-318 is an overwhelming success ” From the EU to the United States and Asia, the success of Tatuus is unprecedented, and underlines the excellent technical heritage, skills and know‐how of the Italian manufacturer Interview/Gianfranco De Bellis by Mattia Tremolada T he year 2020 has not been an easy one for Tatuus, as the manufacturer was forced to delay its activity due to the Covid‐19 pandemic. The Concorezzo‐based company restarted in style, and it’s recent news that starting from 2022, the UAE Formula 4 Championship will use the second‐generation F4 machinery provided by Tatuus and fitted with Autotecnica Motori‐developed powerplants. "We are proud to have been appointed as a supplier for the first Formula 4 championship adopting second‐generation cars ‐ says Tatuus President Gianfranco De Bellis ‐ The conversations with the Formula 4 UAE promoters started over the winter during the 2021 season, and we are delighted that they decided to continue with the same technical package consisting of the Tatuus chassis and the Abarth engine prepared by Autotecnica Motori, which has been powering the major championships of the category for eight years now.
