Paolo Dallara, who will form the technical

What dimension has the number
of the internal forces deployed for the
competition?
«Every year, a little Dallara army takes
active part of the event. Some people as
scrutineers, some as judges, some as
stewards. But the participation is on a
completely voluntary basis. Passion is an
engine that can deliver sensational
performance».
How well is developing, in general, the
collaboration between Dallara and the
education world and University? What
are the differences between the Italian
and American approach to motorsport
education? What they can learn from
each other?
«The collaboration between Dallara and the
italian education panorama is very tight. We
have close relationships with Scholl of all
levels, starting from the junior high school
all the way up to universities. In order to
that, we actively cooperate with educational
institutions, organizing courses for
unemployed people in our territory. All these
experience were merged together in an
institution, the Thechnical-Vocational Pole of
Fornovo di Taro, with the aim of creating a
network between companies and all players
in the education system, by sharing human
resources, space for learning and projects...
Stimulating the interest for the mechanical
industry, and enhancing the value of the
Companies involved in the study and
production of composite material.
All of this in Italy, but if we look at the USA,
the construction of the second Dallara
Driving Simulator in Indianapolis is strictly
tied to the synergy created with the IUPUI
University, which host the Motorsport
Engineering Program, a course for who
wants to be a main character in tomorrow's
motorsport. The Simulator installed at the
Dallara IndyCar Factory provides to students
the chance to translate their research into
practice, enabling them to benefit from a
virtual, quick and innovative prototyping
process which will extend its impact from
motor racing to the whole automotive
industry».
