car driver like you rate the TCR

concept?

“I am impressed with what

Marcello Lotti achieved. The TCR is

a great idea and it allows racing

fast and reliable cars at a

reasonable cost. On top, I love the

possibility to race in different

countries and different series with

the same car. Creating a European

Trophy within the existing series is

also a terrific and cost-effective

option, but in longer-term, it

would be worth having a true

European Series on its own.

What are your plans for 2017?

“It will depend on the budget

available. TCR Benelux is an

option, especially as we have a

revenge to take after being beaten

for the title so narrowly this year,

but I must admit my dream would

be to go back to the international

stage again and do a full TCR

International Series campaign…”
