Fortec sostituirà Jenzer nel campionato 2007

Come anticipato da Italiaracing lo scorso 20 novembre, Fortec in questi giorni ha completato l'acquisizione del materiale dal team Jenzer per partecipare al prossimo campionato della World Series Renault. Uno dei possibili piloti dovrebbe essere Stephen Jelley, che ha saggiato la vettura nei recenti test di Valencia. Yelmer Buurman, che pareva l'altro candidato Fortec, sta invece tentando di entrare nel DTM. Nel 2007 vi saranno dunque tre squadre britanniche: Carlin, Comtec e Fortec. Jenzer continuerà con la F.Renault 2.0 nei campionati Eurocup e NEC e vi aggiungerà la nuova F.Master International. A tal proposito ha già raggiunto un accordo con Rahel Frey.

As anticipated by Italiaracing last November, Fortec racing will replace Jenzer in next year's World Series Renault season. The team finalized the acquisition of all the necessary materials and spare parts, and is looking to sign the two drivers as soon as possible. Stephen Jelley, who tested the car in Valencia, is one of the favorites as Yelmer Buurman, one of the early candidates, is trying to get a DTM drive for 2007. Jenzer will continue its effort in the F.Renault 2000 Eurocup and in the NEC Cup, and plans to be at the start of the Formula Masters, having reached an agreement with Rahel Frey for a drive in the brand new series.
