Kansas, qualifica: ad Harvick la pole

Nuova pole e nuovo record della pista per Kevin Harvick al Kansas Speedway, nel quarto round della Chase for the Sprint Cup 2014. Il pilota del team Stewart-Haas ha preceduto Brian Vickers ed Aric Almirola, tornato su buoni livelli proprio all'indomani della sua eliminazione dalla contesa. Non molto distanti i tre vincitori del Challenger Round, Joey Logano, Jeff Gordon e Brad Keselowski (leader del Q1) mentre Kyle Busch e Dale Earnhardt Jr hanno preceduto Tony Stewart, che per la prima volta dopo il tragico incidente di Canandaigua ha risposto alle domande dei giornalisti. A seguire Kasey Kahne, Greg Biffle e Carl Edwards.
