Silverstone, libere: Gutierrez al comando

Conduce Esteban Gutierrez al termine delle prime prove libere della GP3 Series a Silverstone. Il messicano ha sopravanzato di pochi millesimi, otto, il rivale James Jakes. A seguire si sono piazzati i connazionali di Jakes, Dean Smith, Adrian Quaife-Hobbs e Oliver Oakes. A seguire, il duo RSC Mucke composto da Nigel Melker e Renger Van der Zande. Poco da dire per i piloti italiani: Stefano Coletti, Mirko Bortolotti e Vittorio Ghirelli sono relegati oltre la ventesima posizione. Sessione difficile per Robert Wickens, trentesimo e ultimo.
