Brooks domina e allunga

Doppietta per Christian Brooks nel round della USF2000 a St.Petersburg. Sul tracciato cittadino della Florida, il ventenne californiano dell'Exclusive Autosport ha preso il comando della classifica con ampio margine. Nella prima corsa, caratterizzata da diverse caution e da un contatto tra Michael D'Orlando e Josh Green che nel finale ha mandato il primo sottosopra, Brooks ha dominato, terminando davanti a Matt Round-Garrido e Yuven Sundaramoorthy, già vincitore a Barber. Al quarto posto il neozelandese Billy Frazer, miglior rookie, e Kiko Porto.

In gara 2, Brooks si è ripetuto passando il brasiliano Porto nelle fasi finali, precedendolo di soli tre decimi. Il terzo posto è andato a un D'Orlando in formato maxi. Il pilota di origini italiane ha recuperato fino alla terza piazza a suon di sorpassi. Quarta piazza per Round-Garrido, seguito da Josh Green e dal miglior rookie Spike Kohlbecker. Weekend difficile per Prescott Campbell, vincitore di gara 2 a Barber. Solo una top-10 per il ventenne californiano del team DEForce.
