Busch, Dover: Hamlin vince, scintille Raines-Gordon

Vittoria di forza per Denny Hamlin al Monster Mile di Dover. Nonostante uno stato di salute non perfetto, Hamlin ha condotto buona parte della corsa, resistendo agli attacchi di Martin Truex Jr, mentre Matt Kenseth ha concluso al terzo posto davanti all'ottimo Mike Bliss. A seguire, Reed Sorenson, Carl Edwards e Brad Keselowski, mentre David Reutimann, in trattativa per il rinnovo contrattuale con Michael Waltrip, ha conquistato la piazza d'onore in classifica grazie al decimo posto finale. Se per il successo la bagarre è stata ridotta, non è mancato un momento di tensione: Tony Raines, toccato in pieno rettilineo da Robby Gordon e successivamente finito a muro, ha atteso il rivale lanciandogli contro il casco, ed assicurandosi una sanzione da almeno 25.000$.
