Jorg Bergmeister si accasa da Flying Lizard

Il campione della classe GT2 2006 della American Le Mans Series, e anche primo classificato nella Grand Am, continuerà ad alternarsi tra le due categorie anche questa stagione. Confermato da Alex Job nella Grand Am, il tedesco salirà pure sulla Porsche 997 del Flying Lizard ed avrà come compagno Johannes Van Overbeek, suo principale avversario nel 2006. Bergmeister lascia quindi il team Petersen, che ha optato per le Ferrari. Con la seconda Porsche Flying Lizard vi saranno Seth Neiman, Darren Law e Lonnie Pechnik.

With an eye toward contending for another GT2 championship in the American Le Mans Series, Flying Lizard Motorsports has signed two-time class title winner Jorg Bergmeister for the full 2007 season. Bergmeister, GT2 champion in 2005 and 2006, will join Johannes van Overbeek in the team's No. 45 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR. The California-based team is fielding two new 997 RSR racers from Porsche in the 12-round season. In the No. 44 entry, team principal Seth Neiman will team with last year's teammates Darren Law and Lonnie Pechnik.
