Anche Ambrose nel 2007 in Nextel, la Busch Co. lascia

Continua il mercato Nascar che, dopo aver sparato le migliori cartucce nel corso della stagione, sembra essersi definitivamente assestato. Dopo l'annuncio del ritorno di Ricky Rudd, andato di fatto a chiudere anche l'ultimo posto vacante di alto livello, è arrivata la notizia dell'esordio Nextel di Marcos Ambrose. Il bi-campione V8Supercars, che si appresta ad iniziare la sua prima stagione Busch Series, sempre con la Wood Brothers Racing, ha annunciato che correrà in almeno due gare della categoria maggiore (sui circuiti stradali di Watkins Glen e Sonoma). In attesa di nuovi ed eventuali arrivi nel già fornito roster 2007, è arrivata la conferma dell'addio da parte di Anheuser-Busch per quanto riguarda la sponsorizzazione della categoria di supporto. Dal 2008 la Busch Series dovrà trovare un nuovo sponsor principale.

As Christmas holidays go on, the Nascar silly season, started in the middle of the year, continues to flow. The 2-time V8 Supercars Champion, helped and supported by Ford Australia, will try to turn the impressing promises made in this year's Truck Series in a consistent reality as he approaches his first Busch Series season on the no. 47 Wood Brothers Ford Fusion. While new addition are expected in next season's line-up, Anheuser-Busch decided to stop its support to Nascar's second tier series. Starting from 2008, and after 26 years of racing, the Busch Series will have to find a new title sponsor.
